Freedom -The Path of Most Resistance

The old industrial age” philosophy: “Get a good education, so you can get a good job“doesn’t apply much anymore. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Thomas Edison, and Steven Spielberg, among others, never graduated from college. Did you know that Paul McCartney doesn’t read and write notated music? Spielberg dropped out of Film school. Formal education isn’t the only way to learn and succeed. If you attend college with a clear objective makes sense but problem is, that most don’t have a plan and have unreasonable expectations when they get out. I know people with marketing degrees working in retail stores earning minimum wage. So what’s the deal?

Identify what you’re passionate about and pursue it regardless of the obstacles along the way. Many want success and freedom but are unwilling to pay the price. You see, freedom isn’t FREE. When we choose to pursue financial freedom and time freedom we encounter resistance from the majority that tells us; it can’t be done. Don’t give in to public opinion and follow the status quo path of least resistance.

The path of most resistance has fewer travelers, but the rewards far outweigh the struggles. Stay focused on the prize of freedom and you will overcome the obstacles and receive the rewards.
