Authentic Relationships Your Business Foundation

Sustainable business networks are constructed with a solid foundation of authentic business relationships.

Unlike the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, here in Seattle, the tallest building, the Columbia Tower, was constructed on a solid foundation. Measuring almost 1000 feet and over 70 stories, approximately 100 feet of the building’s foundation lays deep underground, unseen under the Puget Sound sea level.

Relationships are always the foundation for success. There is a tried and true success principle that says “people will likely do business with you if they know, like, and trust you.”  Sustainable growth is compounded by the consistent activity of connecting and developing relationships. The most successful business owners and companies are people-centric. They are focused on connecting and serving their clients, employees, and independent contractors.  We should continually evaluate how we are serving our customers, clients, and team.

Authentic relationships are like the re-bar in the foundation, wired together to form the structural grid. Once the concrete is poured, the grid assists in holding things together, creating a solid, permanent foundation.

Whether you’re connected in a group passionate about riding Harleys, part of a knitting club, or building a massive high-tech business, the common denominator and building block for enduring success is a relationship. People are the connectors and our greatest assets. People network and refer others to our business. Millions of people relate and connect within a variety of networks. Attracting people, finding out what they want, and potentially enhancing their experience with a valuable product or service is the essence of every business or organization. Whether in business or life, together we are the connectors and building blocks that create strong foundations.

Build relationships! Why not invest in you or your company’s greatest assets, your people?  I provide leadership and communication training for individuals, companies, and organizations.
